- "MARTIN, Arthur Gordon - January 7, 1967, late of Boon Hill, Singleton (suddenly), dearly beloved husband of Mildred and loving father of Jessie (Mrs. A.C. Wood, Singleton), Marjorie (Mrs. K. MdKeller, Muswellbrook), Thomas (Boon Hill), Jean (Mrs. Russell Moore, Singleton), Ruth (Mrs. K. Thorn, St. Ives), Alex and Gordon (Singleton), aged 75 years." He was buried at Sedgefield Anglican.
