You clicked the option to volunteer before we could formally greet you. :)
I'm going to post some additional information for you to take a look at, and when you're ready, please post another message here on your profile, and one of our greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.
Also, I'd like to suggest that you check out our G2G Forum (see the Help menu in the upper right corner). It would be a great idea for you to post your information on the Fitzgeralds out there. We have a large community of Irish families here, and I'm sure someone could help you out.
Hi, I am trying to find family in Ireland and in the UK. It turns out that there may be a few. The Irish family name I have is Fitzgerald. There is an uncle, Albert who died aged 21 (would have been in the 60's) Pauline would be around 78 now and Christine would be around 75. Their mother was Pauline Fitzgerald who then married Charles Tarsey. Pauline was from Co. Cork and we don't know if Fitzgerald was her married name or her maiden name before she came over to England, she would have come to England in the early 50's. She also would have passed away late 60's to early 70's. Pauline had 4 more children, Gloria, Esther, April and Charles. Pauline also had 3 sisters that we know of, Margaret, Dolly and Esther.
