Biography

Almeda was born on 17 Dec 1846 in Charles Town, Jefferson, West Virginia. (Is this the same place as the former Charles Town, Kanawa, Virginia?)

John Viles married Almeda Martin in Boone County, Indiana, on 21 Sep 1866. The ceremony was performed by John T. Jones, Minister.^[1] From Us Census and other records, John and Almeda had at least the following children, all born in Indiana:

Almeda Martin died on 21 Dec 1920 at Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana,^[4] and is buried at the Poplar Grove Cemetery, New Brunswick, Boone, Indiana, USA.^[5]
