John Viles married Almeda Martin in Boone County, Indiana, on 21 Sep 1866. The ceremony was performed by John T. Jones, Minister.[1] From Us Census and other records, John and Almeda had at least the following children, all born in Indiana:
In 1880, John Viles, a 35 year old farmer, lived with his wife Almeda and seven children in Union Township, Hendricks, Indiana.[2]
In 1900, John Viles (indexed as John Jules), a farmer, and his wife Almeda were living in Rosston, Union Township, Boone, Indiana, with three children.[3]
Almeda Martin died on 21 Dec 1920 at Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana,[4] and is buried at the Poplar Grove Cemetery, New Brunswick, Boone, Indiana, USA.[5]
