Jerome Martin, son of Thomas Martin and Charlotte Gignac; was born on the 1st of April 1822 and baptized the following day at Assumption Church, Sandwich (Windsor), Essex, Ontario, Canada. ^[1]

Jerome married Esther Apolline (Pauline) Tourangeau; daughter of Jacques James Tourangeau and Monique Boemier; on 30 May 1848 at Assumption Church, Sandwich (Windsor), Essex, Ontario, Canada. ^[2]
