Biography
Thomas L. Martin. Thomas (Bud) Martin, aged 64 years, son of the late James G. and Alta Martin, died Thursday, May 16, at his home in Benton. He is survived by two granddaughters and one grandson, all of Kansas City, Missouri; one brother, Napoleon Martin of Little Rock; three half brothers and four half sisters, and his stepmother, Mrs. Arkie Martin of Benton. Services were held in Ashby Funeral Chapel by Rev. J. M. Hamilton Saturday afternoon. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery. (Benton Courier obituary May 23, 1946, page 5
