Biography
1. Zebediah (Martin) Price's maiden name was obtained from a land record. She sold ten acres of property that she inherited from her father James Martin to John Baskett of Washington Co., TN for fifty dollars in October of 1823.
2. TN: Overton; Deeds E, pg 347, Zebediah Price of Overton Co., to John Simpson for to go to Illinois. Power of Attorney, Agreement. Stepson is to go to IL where her husband Nathaniel died and where he left before his death some property which I wish the said Simpson to sell and dispose of as he shall find best and dispose same, etc. July 27 1823
