Biography

Based on the estimated birth of her first son Edward in 1596, Marie, whose maiden name is unknown, was born about 1577, probably in Essex, England, perhaps near Great Burstead.

Marie's first marriage was probably to Edward Prower of Great Burstead. Edward has been found in the records during the correct time frame. [1]

Marie Prowe, widow, married Christopher Martin 26 Feb 1607 at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Great Burstead.[2][3] [4]

"Mr. Christopher Martin, and his wife, and 2. servants, Salomon Prower and John Langemore." "Mr. Martin, he & all his, dyed in the first infection not long after the arivall."[5]

Marie died sometime the first winter at Plymouth, likely between January and March 1621.[2]

Prower-23 and Unknown-7776 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse, clear duplicate. LNAB is UNKNOWN. Prower was first husband's surname, not hers.

Prower-11 and Unknown-7776 appear to represent the same person because: Prower was her married name

Prower-18 and Unknown-287259 appear to represent the same person because: same name, same spouse, same time frame, same locations, Maria, Marie Prower only wife of Christopher Martin
Prower-18 and Unknown-287259 do not represent the same person because: There is already a proposal to merge Unknown-287259 into Unknown-7776, so Maria Martyn (Prower-18) probably needs to merged into Unknown-7776 as well.
Unknown-7776 and Unknown-287259 appear to represent the same person because: Same first name, same details
