Biography

The early years

Family Life

He would marry Hannah Peirce on the 5 Mo. 2, 1765, daughter of George and Lydia (Roberts) Peirce of Newlin Tonwship.[1]

Through the years

He would take a certificate from Bradford, dated 6 Mo. 18, 1784, to Chester Monthly Meeting and located on a farm of 100 acres in Upper Providence[1]

Death

He died in Aug 1824[1], in Media, Delaware County, Pennsylvania and would be buried in the Sandy Bank Burial Grounds in Media, Pennsylvania[2]

His will [3] reading:

MARTIN, CALEB, Upper Providence. October 10, 182 - August 16, 1824.

Children: Warrick, Hannah widow of Joseph and Caleb her son, Ruth NUZUM, George and his son Caleb, Elizabeth CARR - mentions Lydia ROBINSON and Hannah LONGACRE. Exrs: Sd. son Warrick.

Wits: Thomas WILSON and Ann WILSON. Codicil, July 5, 1824 mentions Hannah LONGACRE as a daughter and having purchased for her land of George ELKINS.

Wits: Luke CASSIN and George MILLER. #624.
