Samuel Martyn was born in Salisbury, Essex County, (then) Massachusetts Bay Colony, on 29 September 1667, the son of George and Susana.[1] (A previous profile gave the same date, but the year as 1647, of which there is no record in the town files.)
He is not mentioned in his father's will, dated 19 January 1683/4.[2]

There seems to be another problem with the children of Susanna (North) Martin of Salisbury/Amesbury, Massachusetts. The first of two profiles showing a son named Samuel says he was born 29 September 1647 and died 1648. The first red flag was that it is just 3 months after Richard Martin was born. Second red flag is that there seems to be no birth record for this Samuel.
And it just happens the second Samuel profile shows a birth date of 29 September 1667 (exactly 20 years later). If there are no objections, I would think it best to merge the two Samuel Martin profiles. Correct?
