Woodrow W. Martz
Woodrow W, Martz, 55, New Oxford, an employee of the Sears Roebuck Co., at Hanover for 20 years, died in the Hanover Hospital Monday morning at 10 o'clock after being in ill health for four months. he has been in the hospital since May 1.
He was a native of Springfield, Ill., and a son of the late Daniel E. and Ada M. Ambrose Martz. He was a veteran of Army duty in World War II, serving from 1944-1946.
Surviving are his wife, Irene Sanders Martz; two daughters and a son, Mrs. Judith A, Reindollar, New Oxford; Woodrow W. Martz Jr., New Oxford, and Barbara J., at home. There are two grandchildrenand two sisters,Mrs. Alfred Bauers, Polo, Ill., and Mrs. Lawrence K. Kuykendall, Gettysburg.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Feiser Funeral Home in New Oxford with the rev. Harry Bowman, pastor of First Lutheran Church at New Oxford, officiating. Interment will be made in the New Oxford Cemetery.
