Biography
George Marwood was born on 20 March 1806 and baptised on 18 April 1806 in Whitby, Yorkshire, England (United Kingdom). He was a son of Matthew and Ann Marwood. (Date of birth recorded in entry.) [1]
The marriage of George Marwood and Elizabeth Harrison took place on 25 July 1828 in Whitby. [2]
In 1851, George Marwood was a labourer living in Boulby Bank, Whitby, with wife and children. [3]
In 1871 he was living with wife Elizabeth, daughters & mother-in-law in Ruswarp, Yorkshire; also grandmother Ann Harrison. He was working as a gardener. [4]
He died in 1875 in Yorkshire. [5] [6]
