Hi Michael

Is it possible Samuel's entire name is William Samuel Spencer? You may know there is a Spencer family group. I'm not a member at the moment but other's may be http://mySHGS.org and you might also look at the FTDNA Spencer project,. I think people can look at it even if they are not members .

Mascraft-16 and Mascraft-14 do not represent the same person because: Samuel Spencer (c 1674-1743) m Elizabeth Mascraft (1669-1743). They had two children: Thomas and Daniel

Samuel's brother, William Spencer (c 1677-1745) m Mehitable Mascraft (1683/4 - 1769), the sister of Elizabeth. They had eight children: Mary, Abigail, William1, John1, Ann1, John2, William2, Ann2. Mary and Ann2 were born "non comos mentis".

The profiles for all four individuals need to be separated and the children assigned to the correct parents.

Mascraft-16 and Mascraft-14 appear to represent the same person because: Same husband and location. Unlikely that the unsourced one is correct on a lot of the details, so we're merging it into the other one.

I am in agreement I may have connected them prior to joining the Spencer Historical Group. Thank you for your help. I did put a note that I descend from the 4 brothers (English) on my Father's side and from the German line on my Mother's line

The Ancestry.com information was used in connecting Zachariah Spencer to this mother. The fact that Zachariah was naturalized in 1742 does not agree with the information which I have listed. The Zachariah born the same year in Conn. Could be a different individuals!
