  5. Emanuel Mashbur, born January 26, 1820 in Trigg Co., KY; died Abt. 1884 in Polk Co., MO.
  6. John Jackson Mashburn, born February 11, 1822 in Trigg Co., KY.
  7. William Mashburn, born September 22, 1829 in Trigg Co., KY; died December 4, 1926 in Elkton, Hickory County, MO. He married Margaret Jane Pitts 1844; born January 20, 1829 in Kentucky, died August 16, 1914 in Elkton, Hickory County, MO. William and Margaret Jane had no children but raised several children, some relatives and some no relation, in their home.

Note: William Mashburn married Sarah "Sally" Cowan about 1806 in North Carolina.[15]

Note: Three children of Sally and William Mashburn - Turner, Martha, and William - married Pitts siblings - Elizabeth, Jack and Margaret Jane. They were the children of David Pitts and Virginia Neal Pitts.[16]

Estate

The administrators of the estate of William Mashbur were appointed January 14, 1847 and recorded in Book A, page 7. John N. Pitts and Turner Mashburn were appointed Principals and Dillard Pitts and Jordan Mashburn were securities.
