The birth record records the parents as John Thomas Bostock and Amelia Maslen.

Maslen-428 and Maslen-70 appear to represent the same person because: I believe the correct death details are 1945 in Bendigo. John and Amelia had a child, Amelia May Jenkin nee Bostock born in Echuca in 1904, after the death date of 1903 that you have in NSW. The Victorian BDM also lists the father of Amelia as Robert. I can find no death record of an Amelia Bostock or Maslen in NSW in or around 1903.
