Daniel Mason served with Middlesex County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Daniel Mason, a twin, was baptized July 21, 1751[1], in Lexington, MIddlesex, Massachusetts. He was the son of John and Lydia (Loring) Mason. Daniel married Sarah (Bartlett) Cheney on January 6, 1793, in Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts.
