David Mason served in the War of 1812

David was born in 1793 in St. Andrews, Orkney, Scotland. He was the son of David Mason and Ann Cobb.

David was baptized on 20 January 1793 in Kirkpatrick, Dumfries.

When David was about 16 he married Ann Antworth in 1810 in New Brunswick. The couple had 5 children: David Mason, Ann Mason, Robert Mason, George Mason and John Mason.

David died at the age of 74 on 13 June 1867 in Mulmur Township, Dufferin Co., Ontario.

Burial in Honeywood Cemetery, Honeywood, Dufferin County, Ontario, Canada
