DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:

Excellent use of inline citations on this profile!! Good work all around!!

May I suggest on behalf of the Southern Colonies Project than instead of using Wikipedia as a reference for all of the data, it would be more in keeping with pre-1700 and project guidelines to use the sources cited by the Wikipedia article. There are some excellent ones with links.

Thanks in advance for considering this!!

Mason-5810 and Mason-966 appear to represent the same person because: Please look at the following link

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=76328855

This is the Find a Grave for George Mason. These two profiles seem to be for the same person.

His daughter from his second marriage is in my mothers line.
