John married Sarah Gardner in 1744 at Swansea.[1][2] Children, all except the last two recorded at Warren, Rhode Island (which was incorporated in 1747 from land separated from Swansea and transferred to Rhode Island):[3]

John died 27 November 1805 and was buried at the James Mason Lot at Warren.[4]
The will of John Mason of Warren, yeoman, is dated 4 April 1799 and was proved 6 January 1806.[5] It names:

sons Holden Mason and Samuel Mason (named executors)
grandson James Mason
daughters Rose Mason, Hannah Mason, Mary Mason, and Patience Mason, all unmarried
daughter Sarah Sisson, wife of James Sisson
