Denton Massey is/was a significant Ontarian .
Denton Massey, born in 1900, was the son of Walter Massey and Susan Denton. He served in the Canadian House of Commons as a Conservative MP for the Toronto riding of Greenwood from 1935 to 1949.[1]

During the Second World War, he served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was made a member of the Order of the British Empire after the war.

After his political career ended, he worked as a sales representative before his ordination as an Anglican priest in 1960. He was the minister of the Church of the Holy Saviour in Waterloo, Ontario, for eight years. He then moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was the rector of a local church and was made a canon in 1973. In 1978 he returned to Canada.

He died in Kitchener, Waterloo, in 1984, survived by his wife Esther and two daughters and a son.[2]
