DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Dade by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Dade:
Massey-4791 and Massey-335 appear to represent the same person because: Massey-4791 and Massey-335 have a shared name (Dade), exactly the same death place and date, the same birth year, the same wife, and the same parents. The normal assumption in such a situation is that they represent the same person. They can only be brothers (rather than the same person) if the wife and some of the dates are wrong. No evidence has been provided for that. In the absence of evidence the only viable position is that the two profiles represent the same person.
