Biography

Nellie Masters was born in 1894 and was with her parents in Faraday Township in 1901. In 1911 she was a domestic, one of three boarders in the home of Mathew Vader in Coe Hill, Wollaston Township. She lived in Wollaston when she married Melville Vader of Faraday Township in Bancroft in 1912. They long farmed in Faraday Township. They had seven children. Nellie died in 1945 and was buried in Lower Faraday Unitec Cemetery.

It's "Nellie" in almost all records seen including her gravemarker (Nellie E. Masters).

Nellie E. Masters, born 1894, daughter of Samuel Masters and Elizabeth Wait of Hastings County, should not be confused with Nellie "Ella" Masters, born 1878, daughter of Jason Masters & Eliza Fox of Lennox County.
