Biography
Little Clarky's short life and horrible death have never been forgotten by his siblings' descendants. At the age of 3 1/2 he died of scald. Family recollection is that he was buried near Beardstown, which is in Cass Co. IL. Evidently Elijah and Eleanor made an early, probably missionary, trip west before joining family in Kanawha Co VA/WV.
