James C Mather is the 3rd great grandfather of my husband Michael Steven Mather. We have never been able to find where he is buried but his wife is buried in Oak Hill cemetery in Larue County Kentucky. We own the old home place where James father Richard settled in Larue County. There was a family cemetery on the property and the stones were done away with shortly after 1935. The old log house was torn down during world war 2. My husbands grandfather gave Richards tombstone to a relative in Louisville KY. We haven't been able to recover the tombstone. We have pictures of Richards children but have never been able to find one of Richard. Do you have any idea on where we might look for pictures?
