In the 1841 England Census Thomas Mather 35 born abt 1806 in Scotland, carpenter, was head of his household in Russell court, St Martin in The Fields, Westminster, Middlesex. Other Household Members were Charlotte Marther 35 not born in the county, and the children all born Middlesex: Elizabeth Marther 8, William Marther 6, and Alice Marther 1. [1]
William Mather full age carpenter (son of Thomas Mather deceased carpenter) married Alice Mather Torrance full age (daughter of William Torrance deceased carver and gilder) on 1 May 1859 in All Souls, Langham Place, Westminster, England. [2]
In the 1851 England Census Charlotte Mather 45 born abt 1806 in Suffolk, England, widow, laundress, was head of her household in 45 Berwick Street, Westminster St James, Middlesex, England.
