Jane's mother died in 1855, and was buried on 2 Jun 1855 at St Thomas' Church in Eccleston, Lancashire. Jane's father died in 1858, and was buried on 16 Sep 1858 at St Thomas' Church in Eccleston, Lancashire.
By April 7th 1861, Jane was working as a house servant in the home of draper William Cross Marsh in Hardshaw Street, St Helens.
