Mrs Anna L Fiske Passes Away at Dickinson Hospital After Long Illness
Northampton July 18 - Mrs Anna L Fiske, 68, widow of William A Fiske of Westhampton, died in Dickinson hospital this afternoon after a long illness. She is survived by two daughters Mrs S M Ewing [?] of Easthampton and Miss Ruth Evelyn Fiske of Patterson N.J.; four sons Granville E Fiske of East Deerfield, William M Fiske of Westhampton, Leonard M Fiske of Greenfield, and David A Fiske of New Brunswick N.J.; two sisters Mrs Ella Emerson of Alexandria Va., and Mrs V S Bridgman of Westhampton and one brother Granville Matthews of Malden.
She was a member of Easthampton Congregational church. For a number of years Mrs Fiske was a supervisor of penmanship in the Easthampton public schools. She was born in Michigan July 18 1861 the daughter of Southworth and Mary (Leonard) Matthews. Mrs Fiske died on her 68th birthday. The funeral will be held in Newell funeral home at King street Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Shelburne. [1]
