Thomas Matthews, son of William, was born September 9, 1676, in Guilford, Connecticut.[1]

He married Abiah 23 May 1700, in Wallingford, Connecticut.[2] She was the daughter of John & Hannah Bassett Parker.

Thomas died 22 Feb. 1762 in Wallingford.[2]
