Biography
Elizabeth Matthews was the daughter of Samuel Matthews of Richmond County. She married first to Robert Taliaferro and married second about 22 Oct 1728/29 to Moseley (or Moses) Battaile (his first wife) who settled in Spotsylvania County and died in 1757-58. [1]
