Wid. Elisabeth Drew, Benj. Mathews, Joseph Field, Francis Drew, Thomas Drew, Robert Burnam, Zachariah Field, and others. Consented by court 27 May 1669.[1]
Elizabeth Follett was living as of August 1, 1706 when when was the executor of her spouse, William Follett's estate.[2]
Note:
The first child named Elizabeth, daughter of Francis Mathews and Thomasine was baptized 27 December 1623 at Ottery St. Mary, Devon, England, Devon, England. This child was buried on 12 February 1624/5. The 2nd Elizabeth who m. William Drew was born circa 1628, as there was another daughter, Frances who was baptized 20 Feb. 1625/6.[7]
John b c. 1650; mar Sarah Field, and fathered 4 more children out of wedlock with Rebecca Cook before marrying her 31 March 1720 and fathering three more.
Death and Legacy
Elizabeth died after 1678, possibly at Dover, Strafford, New Hampshire. [Note: no death date was seen in this source.][4]

Even the sources are good. The article referenced on Comfort Drew in the Maine Genealogist has correct information about William Drew, his two sons Thomas and William, as well as Elizabeth Matthews.
Matthews-471 and Matthews-5843 are not ready to be merged because: Lots of questions on this one. I defer to others who have more data and have studied this family more closely.
Matthews-688 and Matthews-9629 appear to represent the same person because: ...lots of details matching up and one of the Drew DNA study people just sent me this little note about Elizabeth Matthews matching what you guys are on to, but adding her sister the first Elizabeth who died young.
