Biography
Margaret was born in 1782. She was the daughter of Richard Mattingly and Eleanor Hinton.
Margaret was married to Elias Rhodes on June 1, 1807 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, the ceremony being performed by Father Badin.
She passed away on December 21, 1869 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. She is buried in the Mount Caramel Cemetery in Axtel, Breckinridge County, next to her husband. A memorial can be found on Find A Grave.

1850 - United States Federal Census - In the 1850 census, Elias Rhodes, 68, is living with his wife, Margaret, 68, in District 2, Breckinridge, Kentucky. Living with them is their son, Elias, 22. Both men are farmers.[1]
