MARY ALICE DeVORE, 83, of Northfield Manor Nursing Home, died there Saturday. She was the former Mary Alice Mattingly and a native of Marion County. Survivors: a son, Henry I. DeVore; a daughter, Mary L. Bowling; three brothers, Emmett, Roy and Lonnie Mattingly; three sisters, Clara Mattingly, Elizabeth Drury and Louella Meyer; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 A.M. Monday, Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation from 2 to 9 P.M. Sunday. Buried, 12-04-1989, in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Ky.
