"The marriage of Miss Queene Maurer, 2201 North Front street, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen C. Maurer, of Pottsville, and Edward D. Holmes, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward D. Holmes, 1502 North street, will take place next Saturday at 3 o'clock at the Church of God, 1312 Miller street. The Rev. J. E. Bell will perform the ceremony. Miss Maurer 13 employed at the Riverside Manor Rest Home, and Mr. Holmes is affiliated with the Department of Public Instruction at the Capitol"
