Biography
James Laird Lark Mauzy was born on 21 Feb 1815 in Augusta, Virginia. He was the son of Michael Mauzy and Grace (Laird) Mauzy.
James first married Malinda Grace Phares (1827–1862) on 28 Dec 1846 in Pendleton County, Virginia. [1]
James second wife was Caroline (Barclay) Mauzy (1843–1920), who he married 19 Oct 1866 in Pendleton, West Virginia.[2]
James was the father of Sarah Elizabeth Mauzy Judy (1847–1912), James Clark Mauzy (1849–1927), Solomon Phares Mauzy (1851–1923), Michael Mauzy (1856–1930), Edward Beed Mauzy (1865–1957) and Okie J Mauzy (1870–1932).
James died on 20 Sep 1889 (aged 74) in Pendleton County, West Virginia.
