Biography

William Maxwell is a member of Clan Maxwell.

Sir William Maxwell of Springkell, 3rd Bt. was born on 1 December 1739. He was the son of Sir William Maxwell (2nd Baronet.of Springkell) and his wife Catherine Douglas.

He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Maxwell, of Springkell on 14 July 1760.

He died on 4 March 1804 at age 64.
