James was born in 1804. He is the son of Thomas Maxwell and Rachel Chambers. He Married Sarah Clark on 14 August 1828 in Wayne, Indiana. [1] He died 11 August 1865 in Valparaiso, Indiana at the age of 61. His remains were buried at the Old City Cemetery there.[2]
