Biography

Sarah was born 22 October 1733 in Woodstock, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Nehemiah May (abt.1701-1753) and Mehitable (Holbrook) Long (1701-1774).^[1][2]

She married Capt. Benjamin Lyon on 25 January 1753 in Woodstock, Connecticut.^[3]

They had 12 children, most of whom were born in Woodstock, Connecticut:
