I never got to meet him or my Gr. Grandmother May.
His grandmother Eliza Renn was living with him & his children in 1920. She is listed in sources of that Census.
Alexander seems to have served during the Spanish American War. He was married 3 months later.
They were farmers. I think I did go to his funeral when I was young. I believe he died from Skin Cancer. It was open Coffin & I could see that his right ear was deformed & severely discolored. Alex was named after his grandfather Alexander Renn.
He & Martha were buried at Powell Cemetery , Norris City, White County, Illinois.
The Renn name could be spelled Wren.
Alexander Renn had been married for one year in 1900 and has a new wife Martha on the 1920 Census. Healy-634 & great grand son Pike-2301
