Biography

Valentine was born around 1730 in either Orange County or Spotsylvania County in Colonial Virginia to Abraham Mayfield Sr. and Elizabeth Valentine or Bell. He married Mary Winnefred Bradford around 1760 in Bute County, Colonial North Carolina. They had 6 children. He passed away around 1790 in Granville, NC around age 60.

Mayfield-1664 and Mayfield-430 appear to represent the same person because: Although the dates are not exactly the same, the other data seems to be consistent, including the names of parents, wife, children, etc. I will try and initiate merges on the others as well. Thanks!
