Cornelius was a Farmer. In 1850 they were living in Blenheim, Schoharie, New York where he was Farming and Julian was taking care of the home and children, Conelius, Angeline, Charles, Lorenzp, Sally E, James A, Thomas D, Mary J, Jullian, Clarissa and Rosa K.[4]
Cornelius died at age 49, on November 23, 1853, in Jefferson, Schoharie, New York and was buried in the Welch Corner Cemetery, S. Jefferson, Schohoarie, New York .
