John E. McBride may be the same John E. McBride who married Anne McKnitt of Frederica, Maryland. They had one son, John McBride Jr., who was raised by Anne's father and mother, after the violent death of John E. McBride in Wilmington, Delaware -- not far from Chester County, PA where John was born.
