Homer B Dickey in his "The Genealogy of the Dickey Family" c1920, says that Andrew and George Spence were likely raised by their maternal uncle. He further states that they are supposed to have married daughters of Robert Lemon, and that both families, the Spences and the Lemons, moved to Missouri.
Margaret, and her husband Hugh are buried in Connersville, IN.

After Samuel was killed by renegade indians Margaret marriedHugh Dickey and moved to Fayette Indiana. She is buried on theDickey Family Plot, Harrison Twp, Fayette, IN.
