Biography
John was the son of William McClintock b. ca. 1767 in Lancaster Co., PA and Rosanna Sloan b. ca. 1772 daughter of Archibald Sloan of Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania.
He married Elizabeth Lowry 22 Oct 1832 in Bedford County, Virginia.
Children:
- Mary L. b. 1936 in Bedford Virginia.
- William, b.1858, in Liberty, Virginia, married Bertha M. Reilly, daughter of F.M. Beesly and Sarah Trush.[1]
