Biography
Herbert Looney Mccall was born July 16, 1922 in Gloucester, Transylvania County, North Carolina to father Looney Mccall.[1]
Herbert Mccall was enumerated as son of the head of household at Canada, Jackson County, North Carolina for the April 16, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1923 in North Carolina and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Looney Mccall, wife Dora Mccall, daughter Ezella Mccall and son Roland Mccall.[2]
On April 1, 1935, Herbert Mccall lived in Balsam Grove, Gloucester Township, Transylvania County, North Carolina.[3]
