On reflecting on my life so far my greatest successes are my children and my marriage of over 30 years. I have also been blessed to have some wonderful relationships with the best female friends in my life a gal could have and what a pleasure it has been to be on this journey with them all. I have gained immense pleasure in my life from travel, from following the achievements of my wonderful husband, children and son in law and daughter in law too. And my own achievements too, including many jobs and completing my Advanced Diploma in Accounting and my degree a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies as a mature student. I have also gained an incredible amount from investigating my family history and met and formed wonderful relationships with more distant cousins and researchers who have enriched my life. There is something very comforting in family research and I understand why I am drawn to it. I think I should have chosen a private investigator as a career path as I'm not bad at research at all!

As you may have heard, WikiTree is having a source-a-thon Oct 4 - Oct 7. Whether or not you decide to participate in it is up to you. If you want to help the county Kerry project, it would be great if you could put the unsourced Kerry category on any Kerry profiles you come across that need sources. Thank you!
I havent heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you dont wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Hi Sue, we have a common ancestor in Richard Masters. I have some old family tree papers I am uploading but don't have many electronic sources. I have sent away for DNA and am waiting for it to come back. I am in New Zealand. Lauren Procter :-)
Anyway, "Congratulations" on receiving the green "Generous Genealogist" recently. Your dedication to WikiTree continues to show up when you take time to help others. Thank you for all you do!!
