Armstrong was assigned to the Lower Peachtree Circuit, Wilcox County in 1895 for three years. Prior to that he had been assigned to the Ramer Circuit, Montgomery County, Alabama for three years.
Burial in Mesopotamia Cemetery, Eutaw, Greene County, Alabama. She is buried next to her husband, William Bacon Oliver, former U.S. Congressman from Alabama.
