Biography
From Beryl's notes, she was born in the home of her maternal grandmother in Newbern, Alabama. Her father, Rev. W.A. Armstrong was assigned to the Lower Peachtree Circuit, Wilcox County in 1895 for three years. Prior to that he had been assigned to the Ramer Circuit, Montgomery County, Alabama for three years.
