James was born in 1861. James McCarthy ... He passed away in 1931. He was a railroad conductor for the Nickle Plate Railroad. He was station in Bellevue, Ohio. James would get on the train at Bellevue and head to Cleveland, Ohio and changed train and head toward Chicago and spend the night there. The next day he would go back to Bellevue. He would get two days off every week. Sometimes he took vacation on the train with his family across the country.
The McCarthy's lived at 220 N Sandusky Street, Bellevue, Ohio. It was a home that contains 1,860 sq ft and was built in 1900. It contains 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. At the time there wasn't a play ground next door where the children played from the school. [1]
