Biography

The Civil Registration is not clear enough to positively identify him as the man who died in December of 1917 in County Longford. We do know James was alive when his sister Bridget died in NYC leaving him as one of the heirs to her estate, so he was alive in 1916. A history of Killoe Parish recalls him as a blacksmith and he is found in the records at Lower Aughaboy. He does not seem to have had children, but that is not fully known to be a fact.
