Biography

Patrick, born about 1809, was the son of Denis McCarthy and Johanna Dillon. He emigrated to Upper Canada (Ontario) with his family in 1825 aboard the Fortitude as part of the Peter Robinson Settlers group. The ship's records indicate that he had lived in Brigown, County Cork. [1]

He passed away in 1885 of "Congestion of the right lung".[2]
