Alice McChesney was an Appalachian.
In the 1860 census, Alice McChesney (age 1) was with her parents in Western District (Abingdon post office), Washington County, Virginia.[1]
Alice Mcchesney Cross (age 60), married, daughter of Granville Craig Mcchesney and Elizabeth Gray, died on 9 July 1920 in Washington, Virginia. She was buried in Cleveland, Virginia. The informant was T.G. McChesney.[2]
