George was born in 1849. George McClellan ... He passed away in 1918.[1]

01 Nov 1935 his wife Mary Mcclellan passed on in Tacoma, Pierce, Washington at the age of 78 years old[2]

Research Notes

Death Certificate states he was interred at Mtn View Cemetery, no location given. As they had resided in Cowlitz County at the time of George's death, there seems to be no reason to think his body was taken to Tacoma. More likely interred at one other Mountain View Cemeteries in either Cowlitz, Lewis or Clark counties.
